Hsin Jung Fu preschool and Da Chung Hua Preschool

Research Subjects

Hsin Jung Fu preschool: twenty-eight  5-years-oldstwenty-six 4-years-olds, twenty-three 3 years-olds.

Da Chung Hua preschool: twenty-two 5-years-oldstwenty-three 4-years-oldstwenty 3 years-olds.  Total 142 kids.

Research Time

Twice a week and 30 minutes each time for 10 weeks.

Research Motives and Goals

1.      Enhance whole body balance, coordination, stableness, and action planning skills through the exercises using Weplay Balance Coordination Aids.

2.      Compare young children’s balance ability using the results of Balance scale.

3.      Understand young children’s balance development through the results of Balance scale

Results

1.      After the activities, children in every age group gained progress in Balance scores.  It indicated that Weplay Aids and activities had positive impacts on young children’s balance ability.

2.       Results showed that 3-year-olds had the biggest progress.  It indicated that the younger the children were, the larger impact Weplay Aids and activities had.
